In the fall of 1972 the school doors were opened with an enrollment of 53 students in grades K-6. In 1973 Pre-K and grades 7-8 were added and in 1974 the high school began with grades 9-10. Grade 11 was added in 1975 and in 1976 the school added grade 12. The school philosophy then emphasized Christian training in the school as a supplement to the training that the child received at home, thus promoting a spirit of unity between home and school.
Since then the Christian Day School has grown and maintained the vision to equip children for effective service. Holt Lutheran School now runs as a K-8 day school. For information about our Early Childhood program or high school please visit their sites.
